A network stall is the state in which blocks stop being produced and transactions stay stuck in the mempool forever. The RPC still responds to read queries, but write operations (transactions) never confirm.
A network stall is the state in which blocks stop being produced and transactions stay stuck in the mempool forever. The RPC still responds to read queries, but write operations (transactions) never confirm.
The most common cause, and so the first thing to check, is a quorum failure: not enough validators are online to reach ⌊N/2⌋+1\lfloor N/2\rfloor+1⌊N/2⌋+1.
A 2-validator network has a quorum of 2, so if either validator goes down the network stalls immediately.
Diagnosis starts with the peer count on each validator and the P2P connectivity between them.
