blockchain//gossip

Gossip is cascade propagation: a node tells its neighbors, they tell theirs, and the information spreads exponentially. Both new transactions and newly created blocks propagate this way. A bootnode only seeds a newcomer's first connections; after that, peers find each other on their own.

Gossip runs primarily over TCP, because reliable, ordered delivery is critical for reconstructing blocks correctly. It is fully decentralized: there is no central broadcaster and no single point of failure.
