The config of a Besu node is the `config.toml` file that groups its static settings (the RPC settings, the bootnodes, the sync options and the CORS configuration) in one place, so that the `docker run` commands stay short.

The config of a Besu node is the config.toml file that groups its static settings (the RPC settings, the bootnodes, the sync options and the CORS configuration) in one place, so that the docker run commands stay short.

The parser is strict: a syntax error on one line can make Besu fail to recognize the options on later lines. One setting deserves care, the CORS origins, rpc-http-cors-origins=["*"], which allows any web page to call the RPC: convenient in development, dangerous in production.
