This can provide rapid upgrades, strong managed infrastructure and low operational burden. It also limits independent modification, auditing and portability. The provider can change prices, policies, behavior or availability, so integration design should treat the model endpoint as an external dependency rather than a permanent law of nature.

Convenience is real. So is the landlord.
