blockchain
A blockchain is a distributed ledger replicated across many nodes, the participants that store, verify and propagate it, with no single point of failure. Every node independently verifies every transaction, so trust comes from verification rather than from authority.

Nodes with the same Chain ID belong to the same blockchain whatever their physical infrastructure (different machines, different Docker networks).
The Docker network is the physical transport layer, the road; the blockchain is the application layer, the club with its rules.
